Notes from the SNL Live Show

~Chris Kelly wrote the elegnance sketch.
~Colin Jost wrote the blood sketch and Target Lady.
~Mike O’Brien wrote the restaurant scene sketch
~Lorne took Kristen’s hands before goodnights and told her a few words.
~Aidy and Kristen talked before Target Lady. Kristen came up to her,and started to tell her something and she looked totally flushed and happy.
~The cold open was was written by James Downey.
~They cut Jay Pharaoh’s beat in cold open without him knowing. Jay and Jenna, the stage manager, were both confused.
~Nasim always mouths her lines seconds before air. She was going through cue cards before her part in the cold open.
~Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider wrote the flowers mothers day sketch.
~ Cecily and Bobby wrote the Moms a Ghost sketch.
~Paul Feig and Paul Rudd were both in the audience. A page said Tina Fey was there too, but not in the audience.
~Before Lawrence Welk, Lorne came over to talk to Fred. They were smiling and laughing.
~Maya and Fred had a moment during goodnights where they were holding each others shoulders and just smiling and laughing.
~Beautiful standing ovation for Kristen Wiig as she was walking from home base after good nights. She stopped, put her hands over her mouth, paused, then walked back to home base and started crying as she looked out at the audience. It was beautiful.

People who cannot appreciate talent disgust me. You can love and appreciate multiple people and things and shows at once, FYI. 

I honestly respect all the nominees for best actress in a comedy. Any of them winning would be perfect. I am so thrilled they were recognized and that such a revolutionary force and inspirational women, writer and procuder - Lena Dunham - was picked to win the award this year. Every single one of those women is incredible and is a personal hero for me.
